Refund Policy

At One Knight Hire, every booking reserves a garment exclusively for your selected dates. Once a booking has been confirmed, that garment is unavailable for other customers to hire. For this reason, please read our Refund Policy carefully before placing your booking.

Sizing & Fit

One Knight Hire does not offer refunds, exchanges or Store Credit where a garment does not fit as expected.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions, measurements, size guides, photographs and sizing recommendations before placing a booking.

Sizing advice is provided as a guide only and cannot guarantee fit.

If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us before booking and we will happily assist where possible.

Booking Cancellations

Bookings cancelled within six (6) hours of purchase may be eligible for a refund provided the garment has not been prepared or dispatched.

Approved refunds may incur a small administration and payment processing fee.

Bookings cancelled after six (6) hours are not eligible for a refund.

Where cancellation occurs seven (7) or more days before the event, One Knight Hire may, at its sole discretion, offer Store Credit.

No refund or Store Credit will be provided where:

  • The garment has already been dispatched.
  • The garment has already been collected.
  • The rental period has commenced.
  • The booking is cancelled due to a change of mind.

Courier Delays

One Knight Hire is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or third-party courier providers.

Where a delay occurs outside of our control, refunds will not be issued.

Where appropriate, One Knight Hire may, at its sole discretion, offer Store Credit or a booking transfer.

Condition Issues

If your garment arrives with a condition issue that was not previously disclosed, you must notify One Knight Hire within eight (8) hours of delivery or collection.

The garment must remain unworn and clear photographic evidence must be provided before any claim will be considered.

Minor signs of wear consistent with normal rental use are not considered faults.

Garment Unavailability

In the unlikely event that your booked garment becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including damage, loss or the failure of a previous customer to return the garment on time, One Knight Hire will make every reasonable effort to provide a comparable replacement.

Where a suitable replacement cannot be offered, we may provide Store Credit or a full refund.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.

Where required by law, One Knight Hire will provide the remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
